Bob Bob Bobieeeeee !
Okay, a few of you have been asking where Stuart, Liz and Bob have been hiding, well I can now tell you* they moved to Chippenham at the start of the year.
Bob is quiet happy running around in 5,000 acres of private land (no, Stuart did not win the lottery !!).

Bob is now running for a new Flyball team "The Cotswold Flyball Team" and is racing in starters this weekend and is doing a full "open race" at Acremead on April 16th.
There is a good chance our paths will cross in the future so we will no doubt catch up with Stuart, Liz and Bob and also and meet a new Flyball team !.
(* Only becuase Stuart phoned me today... I had no hidden gossip :-) !)

Leatherhead competition - Racers 1st!!, Raiders 1st!! Full report:-
It didn't help that Sunday the clocks went forward and so we lost an hours sleep, plus we had to be in Leatherhead by 08:30, or in my case - much much earlier!
Raiders - Summer and Diana, Muttley and Andy, Ruby and Shaun, Milly and Jade, Toby and Michael.
For the Raiders first race, against the Lightening Chasers, it was a straight forward 3 wins to 0, with a best time of 20.41 seconds.
For the second race, against Four Paws Flying, we won 3 heats to 1 with Toby and Michael running their first Open competition and doing great work. Best time of 20.37 seconds
In the afternoon, for the third race, against the Buccaneers, we won all 3 heats with Toby playing a great role in the last 2. Best time of 20.52 seconds
For the final decider race against the Suffering Jets, who were level pegging with us, we blew them into touch with 3 straight forward heat wins and with a best time of 20.41
Total comp points - 4 , to take 1st place for the Raiders in Div 5!
Racers - Tosca and Lily, Sassy and Rich, Benji and Jordan, Dolly and Ness
Very similar story to the Raiders
First race, against the Ramsden Reelers, 3 heats wins to their 1. Best time of 20.44 seconds
Second race, against the Barkshire Bambinos, 3 heats wins to 0. Best time of 19.97 seconds
Third race, against Aces Spades, 3 heats wins to 0. Best time of 19.91 seconds
Fourth race, against the Blazin Aces, 3 heat wins to their 1. Best time of 19.98 seconds. Some heart stopping moments in the final few heats and we had some faults where we had to run a dog again - but then so did the Blazin Aces. Also Benji's 4.2 second runs - though fantastically fast and definitely contributed to our success, had some of the closest changeovers we have yet done!
Total comp points - 4 , to take 1st place for the Racers in Div 4!
It was nice to crack the 20 second barrier for the first time this year and both of our teams are now very close in terms of seed time - 19.91 and 20.37
A quick trip to a local pub after our racing and before the prize giving at the end, to enjoy a pint or a glass of wine, was most welcome :-))
Mention in Despatches:
Lily, who is 13 years old, for running my Tosca for the first time, as start dog, and Lily's very first competition. Some cracking starts helped secure our place. Well done Lily!
Jade, who is 12, for running my Milly for the first time as anchor dog. Milly is quite a handful and she will pull your arms out of their sockets! Well done Jade!
Toby and Michael - running in their first Open competition and doing just great!
Kirsty - for doing box loading for us.
