Woking, A quick update

The Dream Team appear to have the knack of organising competitions that run very late !.

Thanks to everyone who turned up to race and sorry to the starters who ended up having to leave before racing started / during racing as it was gone 7pm before anything happened !.

The mixed up Rebounds and Raiders Teams both came away with 2nd place, so good results there.

Congratulations to the following dogs who also received their awards at this show:

So Ozzie graduates first, well done Ozzie !.

A new dog enters the list, good luck Maya.

A quick tot up of points from Woking and I *think* Toby will still be top, but Chewy will move into second Harry will stay in 3rd and Riley will go 4th.

2 month break now, but hopefully next year we can get Panda and Harry moving up the list again and get some new dogs on there too (im looking at you Tam, Digger, Lola, FLo, Charlie, Darcy etc !).

Rooky Racers Pub Quiz Night Report

The Wyvern pub was quite a busy place with the Quiz teams getting prepared. We split ourselves into 2 teams:

Team Rooky Rejects with Ness, Val, Chris, Diane and Michael

Team Simons Sex Symbols (surely a misnomer with Shaun on the team .... ) with Shaun, Simon, Kirsty, Nigel, Sam and Steve

Diane was hoping that the question “What is Scooby Doo’s” favourite food? Might come up as that is the only thing she says she knows!

Ness was hoping for a question on the Periodic Table, coz thats the only thing she says she knows too!

Shaun was hoping that the question “How much does it cost for a lady in one of his apartments for the night”. Apparently he knows the answer to this question .... ;-)

Sadly, none of those questions turned up!

Team Rejects thought a picture of Kylie Minogue was Sophie Dahl

Team Sex Symbols thought My Little Pony came out in 1989 and also sneeked a peek at Team Rejects answers.

Michael thought one of the Munster Family characters was called “Dementia”. Diane almost wet herself in laughter at this!

Val correctly answered Japan as a top world champion table tennis team, but ...  ahem ... the scribe ... didn’t bother to put the answer down. The scribe?  Errrmmm Me ....  ;-)

The winning team came from the other side of the pub with a score of 43 out of 60.

Where did we come....

Sex Symbols had 27 points and the Rejects had 24 points.

It was a great fun night and we intend to take part in another pub quiz night soon, maybe a little nearer to us all.!
