With the British Championships coming up on the weekend of the 19/20/21st August, there will be no training that weekend as most of us will be there.
We have 3 weekends left for training before then and will use those weekends to train in our competition teams to get ready for the Champs, in the 09:30 slot on the Saturdays. All those who are not racing at the Champs will train as part of a remainder team.
After the Champs, on the 27th August - training will be as normal.
On the 3rd Sept and 10th of Sept, there will be NO training at all as Andy and I are on our respective holidays
From 17th Sept, all training is back to normal :-)
So the calendar looks like this:
30th July - Normal training but comp teams train together
6th August - - Normal training but comp teams train together
13th August - - Normal training but comp teams train together
19/20/21 August - No training - British Championships
27th August - Normal training
3rd Sept - No training (Andy and Chris on holiday)
10th Sept - No training (Andy and Chris on holiday)
17th September (and onwards) - Normal training

For those of you camping over at the Champs!...
Hi all ,
We are delighted to announce the Championships Marquee After Dark evenings will be held after Presentations on Friday and Saturday, both evenings the Bar will be open untill 11.30 and the evening entertainment will be untill 12 midnight, when the Marquee will close.
Friday night will be Quiz night with light music after for pleanty of Flyball Chat .
Saturday night will be fancy dress Disco night , due to popular demand we will be inviting teams to dress to impress ! This year we have had so many suggetions for a theme we decicied to have a "TEAM THEME" so get your thinking caps on and come dressed as a team of flyballers , the cast of Glee or the Whacky Racers ! the choice is yours and theres a prize for the best "Team Theme".

Pet Food Offers
Someone I used to work with has started to sell petfood via Amazon & Ebay.
All animal types (Yep, including Horses !), flea / worm treatments (I assume the non prescription stuff)etc.
They promise to undercut what ever you pay at the moment.
Drop them an email - emma@petstopuklimited.co.uk say you belong to the Rooky Racers Flyball team for the undercut offer.
Food delivery will be free to where we train :-)

Kilnsea last Sunday
An interesting days racing for the Raiders, the plan was always to mix things up and give the newer dogs a chance to race more...
So... if the notes are correct !..
Alfie - did great and think will have got enough points to get Flyball Dog Graduate, some great starts too !
Ozzie - first day of real racing and did not put a paw wrong and is over half way to Flyball Dog.
Toby - ooooo, so close to Flyball Dog !... 5 points short !... but the boy did good once he knew Mum was waiting at the end of the jumps !
Bruiser - Big thanks to Suzie for agreeing to try and run Bruiser in 3rd place, and he did so well ... but from now on he can go back to being last dog and we can work on Tobys ball dropping (and yes, the line judges were laughing at how far out from the first jump he was jumping from :-) )
Chewy - Wow, 60 points !... and she is fine after her bump with Alfie... im sooo proud of her... there is light at the end of the tunnel !. (Being a start dog may stop her chasing other dogs but she does get worn out quickly by false starts !).
Muttley - Was only ever going to be dog six, and the fact he was only used 4 times in 19 races shows how well all the other dogs did.
Seeded last, came last, you cant win them all !... cheers to everyone who raced, helped and turned up to see us race.
