Progress towards Flyball Dog (200 points) Update

Latest standings in the race to Flyball Dog !

NB... this is just for fun !

Toby = 165
Harry = 100
Ozzie = 80
Chewy = 50
Panda = 0
Lacey = 0
Riley = 0

So Harry moves to 2nd... but the Champs could result in an upset... if the Maths is correct Oz could be the winner... Harry and Toby will not move due to going NFC, that gives Chewy, Panda, Lacey and Riley the chance to over take Harry for 2nd !

Rooky's at the British Flyball Championships - Report

Rooky Rebounds – Lacey and Shannon, Chewy and Jade, Muttley and Andy, Panda and Sam, Riley and Jenny. After some nerves from Lacey in the morning, the team finally came together in the afternoon for some great racing. Shannon did some superb starts with Lacey and Panda was a superstar through-out. Chewy and Muttley were rock solid and Riley did sterling work as backup. Lacey, Panda and Riley get on the board with their first lot of Flyball points!! Many more to come!! Team was placed 5th overall.
Rooky Raiders – Alfie and Nigel, Dolly and Ness, Harry and Val, Toby and Michael. Unfortunately we had to run Not for Competition as some of the dogs decided to have an off day, but they all had fun anyway. At least we continued to compete – if not for points or position – which earned us much praise from the judge and on-lookers for our commitment. Alfie had some great Starts to get the team rolling. Team was placed 6th overall and “Not For Competition.”
Rooky Racers – Tosca and Jade, Sassy and Richard, Ruby and Shaun, Milly and Chris, Ozzie and Richard. A good days racing and some close stuff in the afternoon, though the other teams were quite simply faster than us. Ozzie gained enough points to qualify for his Flyball dog Award! Well done Ozzie and Richard! Team was placed 6th overall.
Camp Rooky – we all had great fun camping out – some in more luxurious accommodation than others! Lots of wine flowed on Thursday evening though it slowed down somewhat as a result on Friday evening! The venue was large and in lovely surrounding. Our Banner Sail with logo helped us standout amongst the rest of the campers and also helped us find our way back to the camp from racing!! Jill and Jenny deserve special mention for all their help in the catering side, cooking for us and generally looking after us all. Jenny is now promoted to Chief Campsite Caterer!
Division 1 – for those that stayed to watch, it was all very exciting with some incredibly fast and close racing. The Lurcher in the Extreme Team was probably the fastest dog I have ever seen. (there is hope for Flo yet!!). Congratulations to the Live Wires for coming 1st and the British Flyball Champions of 2011.
